A lot of people and cultures have predicted the end of time. It could be the end of the life giving properties of planet Earth, via some catastrophe or series of catastrophe's. Or it could be the end of human life and the beginning of another kind of life. Or could be some apocalyptic end of the universe where the universe as we know it ceases to exist. No-one knows how far along we are on this time-line. There are three types of time, when we talk about the end of time. The end of our time and the end of the human species, where we have created the conditions of a large catastrophe, by destroying the life supporting mechanisms of the Earth and we are unable to survive in some space craft or by colonising a different planet. That time-line is thin. We have been around for roughly 100,000 years, with only ten thousand years of intelligent life, where we developed culture, agriculture, money, democracy etc. Then there is the time-line of planet Earth of roughly four billion year...

I have always dreamt about the demise of the leader of North Korea, whether it was Kin Jong-un or his father. This afternoon, I dreamt of Kim Jong-un, being flung around a large wide industrial canal. The canal was serene and quiet, with no ships and a large bridge across it with no traffic on it. Kim Jong-un was being thrown around within the canal, both into the water and across it by an unseen force. It then showed a God-like figure riding along a path on the back of a stag and on each side were rows of reindeer who would lie down one by one in unison on either side, as this God-like figure passed. Dream - 26/05/2016 - I was driving home up a hill. When I arrived at the top of the hill I could see a cascade of flood water and a car in trouble ahead. The network of single track roads across a plain, were being washed away. I turned round through the flood waters and began to drive back down the hill. The flood waters got so deep that it picked up a camper van and moved it around a swirling torrent. I turned off this road and into a school. In the school I found children and volunteer disaster management wardens, and elderly people gathering there from a nearby old peoples home. I spoke to some of the wardens, as the flood waters gathered around the school. This dream could be a prediction of flooding in the UK, probably this summer - addition: 03/06/16 - days after this dream, massive floods have hit France and Germany. I've been watching a new TV series called Damien, based on the film The Omen. In it he is made aware of the fact that he is the Beast predicted in the Bible. Way back in 1997/8 I had a hypnopompic vision (a kind of waking dream) where I was shown the face of a man, and then a voice said 'this is the enemy'. I was a regular at church at the time and 'the enemy' is either the Devil or The Beast in his human form. I only have an almost twenty year old memory of this face and I have been on the look out for this man. Sometimes like an electronic picture file, there is more information in an visions than just the image and sounds themselves. There is feelings and intuitions as well. I felt at the time that this man was American and he was from a family of privilege. Many people in the US believe that The Beast will be European, that he will try to create and run a 'world government'. That he will somehow know who he is. Dream number 243 in Dream Diary - 01/07/09: I had this dream in 2009 which seems to predict a breakthrough led by the French - COP21. "I came late to the negotiations with lots of ideas and began telling the assembled room of high level government ministers what I thought. Sat next to me was the French minister. He nudged me and from under the desk he produced a well written comprehensive plan to deal with the carbon pollution problem. It was such an excellent plan that I was blown away by it. I sat back and let him take over. As I looked across at the dossier I could see maps of heat and carbon over-laid, over time. It clearly showed the economic and practical solutions needed. I tried to argue that these were only predictions and could not be relied upon. But I had to admit it was stunning in its simplicity."

I half expected a film about the terrible side effects of modern psychiatric drugs – a kind documentary style film about the pharmaceutical industry. Even though it was actually a thriller, I wasn’t too disappointed. This is a clever film, with twists and turns, some of which I guessed, most of which I didn’t. Catherine Zeta-Jones, not my favourite actress, put in an excellent performance, capturing the scheming and patronising psychiatrist manipulating Jude Law and using the vulnerable, but mentally unstable siren, Rooney Mara; an actress I have not seen before in any other films. Steven Soderburgh has once again, presented an interesting, topical film, which isn’t over cooked, nor is it boring or clichéd. It is also another great moment for British actors working in the US.
