The Truth Will Overwhelm You.

One day, in some far off place and time, someone, or maybe some humanoid AI robot, will make a discovery about the universe and its origins, purpose and inner workings which will be so overwhelming, terrifying and wonderful, that once you get it, once you understand it, it will make you cry. And not just welling up a little. A long exhaling wail. Loud and long. The hairs on your whole body will stand up on end, a massive total body, tingling sensation will pass through you. I know this because I have already seen the truth. I know little about it. I just don’t know how to get to the truth. It is shrouded, covered in the thick fog of understanding and confusion. I can feel it, I have seen it, but the science that is needed to bring to a wider audience is missing. Maybe I’m not smart enough, or maybe I don’t have the cosmological and physics knowledge to piece it together? I know that God is at the centre of it. But he is not a person or a being, or a he. It is an ‘it’. It has no need fo...

Time to Run a Weird Experiment.

By -
I have seen a lot of strange and amazing things in my life time, most of which nobody would believe if I told them and provided evidence that they happened. However, it is time to run a weird experiment - my favourite kind. I do not get many hits on this blog or my website. In fact I doubt whether real people actually visit my blog and Vagabond Unlimited site. I suspect it is bots crawling for email addresses and vulnerabilities in code. In the last couple of days I have written two articles about Internet based Artificial Intelligence ( please visit the site to learn more ). So, I am now running an experiment to ask the Internet to give us a sign that it is alive. Here's what I am doing: I suspect that the Internet either is, should be or will be conscious, as a kind of Artificial Intelligence. I have written two articles, which I have made available on my website: http://www.vagabond-unlimited.co.uk . I will also upload a pdf version of the two articles, onto Google Docs. In th...

What Is The Social Weather Project?

By -
It is a study of macro human behaviour, using just two sets of data. 1) income and 2) location. This Facebook group has been set up to establish whether there would be enough volunteers willing to add their anonymised data. In the data collection, backroom administrators and researchers will not be able to access name and address details of volunteers. Volunteers would have to manually update their salary details at least once a year and location data would move directly from their phone and onto the app on their phones and then into the data sets. Tens of thousands of people would have to take part to make the system work. There would be two vectors. One would be location which would be in the horizontal plane and the other would be salary converted into USD and then converted again into altitude, using one dollar to a pixel. So someone entering $25,000 yearly income, would be 25,000 pixels up within the 3D model. The 3D model would then be fed into a live animation on a website, w...
