As an author with mental health problems, writing has been a very testing experience for me. I get good review most of the time, but this doesn't translate into sales. My failure to become a full-time writer has caused a great deal of depression for me over the years. What I need to do is raise some funds to raise my profile as a writer, and try and get myself onto the next level of writing. It is so important for me to do this. A lot of my life is difficult, but I am happier when people read my work; work that I have struggled to create. If I was more successful and I was happier, it would help me fight back against a range of health issues, that as a sufferer of mental health difficulties, continues to get worse. I feel like I only have a few years left of moderately good physical health, in which to break the deadlock in my career and change my life for the better. The link is here. I have been advertising on Facebook, Twitter and Google for many years now. One time I set up an ad, which directed people to an Ebay page. When the short campaign was over, I had 23 link clicks, costing £5.18, reaching 1,195 people. However, Ebay registered only 2 visits. I contacted Facebook and they said it was because Ebay registered visitors in a different way. I was still charged for these clicks though. I also did a campaign on Twitter and Facebook for my book in the last couple of days. These ads go to Amazon.co.uk. Twitter registered 27 clicks and Facebook 38 clicks. I had no sales at all. I don't even know whether anyone actually visited my book page. No idea. I had a dream three nights ago, where there had been an unknown disaster. No-one knew what was going on, but they were being evacuated. By the time I had woken up that morning, my town was deserted, apart from a few stragglers which I was helping to get out of town.

A space elevator has been talked about since Konstantin Tsiolkovsky, having witnessed the building of the Effiel Tower in 1895. He proposed a tower being built to the height of 35,000 km, the hieght of geostationary orbit. However, from that time to this, there has not been a material strong enough to build a space elevator. In the 21st Century, nano technology has made it theoretically possible to build a cable that is tethered on Earth and would reach into space to 96,000 km (59,652 miles) where it would almost reach out to the Kármán Line, at an altitude of 100 km. Several years ago (not sure how long but at least five years ago), I had a dream that I was part of a tourist group walking round Aung San Suu Kyi's house, where she was held under house arrest. The house had a pond, which was square with small wooden bridges across parts of the pond. It was about three feet deep, and had pond plants in it. As I crossed one of these bridges I saw Aung San Suu Kyi's body at the bottom of the pond facing up. Given her troubles with the Rohingya crisis, many suspect that she is being restrained by the military side of the government. If she pushes back against the policy of ethnic cleansing, the military may act against her. A few nights ago I had a dream of living near a burnt out, derelict tower, like the Grenfell Tower. I was living in a house nearby and everyone in the area was being evacuated as the tower was beginning to collapse. I was running round looking for friends who didn't know about the evacuation to try and save them.

The significance of the number 22 to me, started about 20 years ago when a friend of mine told me that when he first became mentally unwell he was waiting to be seen by a psychiatrist, when a voice said 'remember 22'. This was a totally abstract and random thing. But when he told me I was quite suggestible, and open to taking meaning from just about anything from anywhere. The number 22, along with many other numbers became signs of things. I took the number 22 to signify that something good was going to happen and for years when dates like 22.02.YYYY came round I would get quite unwell waiting for something to happen - often something good, but also bad. I got out of this habit a few years back, because my illness shifts around its emphasis on different things for different times. However, the Manchester Bombing changed that for a short time.
